Hello and welcome to How to Come Up with and Capture Blog Post Ideas!
This course is broken into 3 main parts:
#1: Capture Your Writing Ideas: How to Never Lose Track of Blog and Book Ideas
Many writers, whether authors or bloggers have an abundance of ideas. For some of you, the problem isn’t coming up with ideas, but rather keeping track of all of your great ideas.
In this section of the class, I get into how to set up your writing idea capture system. In it I cover the following:
- Analog vs. Digital Tools – I cover the pros and cons of both analog and digital tools for your idea capture system.
- Top Analog and Digital Tools – I share with you some of my favorite analog and digital tools for capturing writing ideas.
- How to Create Your Own System – I also get into how to set up your own personalized system that works for you.
If you want a great way to keep track of all of your amazing ideas, be sure to start with this section of the class.
#2: Nurture Creativity: Easy Ways for Authors and Bloggers to Nurture their Writing Souls
Have you ever sat down to write and but felt almost dead inside? Let’s face it, a lot of writers (including me!) struggle at times with creativity.
Sometimes the lack of creativity, writer’s block, and even burnout occurs because our well is dry. It’s hard to draw water from a well if the well is filled with nothing but stones and dry, cracked soil. Because of that, it’s important to intentionally nurture your writing soul. And nurturing your writing soul is what this section of this course is all about.
In it, I provide 10+ ways to nurture your creativity, so that when you sit down to write, you write from a place of abundance, instead of a place of scarcity and inner drought.
#3: Blog Post Idea Generation: 30+ Ways to Come Up with Ideas for Your Blog
When it comes to running a successful blog, coming up with blog post ideas is half the battle. In fact, when people join my email list, in the first email, I ask them to reply and tell me their biggest blogging challenge. At least 25% of them say, “Coming up with blog post ideas,” or “Knowing what to write about,” or something similar.
That’s what motivated me to write my book, Blogger’s Quick Guide to Blog Post Ideas, and to then create this class.
The bottom line is that it truly is easier to write when you have an abundance of ideas rather than sitting there looking at a blank page, wondering what to write.
So in this section of the class, I give you 30+ ways to generate blog post ideas. Many of them take 10 minutes or less and can give you an endless – YES, endless – supply of blog post ideas.
Who this course is for:
- All types of writers and content creators
- This course is applicable for bloggers of all levels, including beginning bloggers.
